About

Hi I’m Sara. I’m an RN, not an English teacher, and writing is definitely not a strength of mine, so don’t come here if you are looking to critique someone’s writing, because you will have your work cut out for you, and I’ll save you a little time… I over and under use commas, I write run-on sentences, and I use “…”  way too much… and usually when it’s unnecessary. 🙂

My intentions are to use this blog as a way to share my reviews, promote the books and authors I love, and share giveaways and deals & steals that I find, as well as get to know those who share my passion for reading.  I’m completely new to blogging and although I’m 30 I feel like what 90 year olds must have felt like when computers and cell phones were introduced lol.  I’m slightly technologically challenged.

I love to read and read every day.  I tend to lean towards the growing world of Indie books… they usually have the best covers, best stories, no boundaries and the e-books are usually way more affordable. I love sharing my thoughts on books as well as reading what others think about the books I love and hate. I also love swooning and daydreaming over my favorite book boyfriends with my favorite Goodreads friends. My favorite genres are New Adult, Young Adult, Contemporary Romance, and Dystopian, but I have and will pretty much read anything.  I love anything rom happy/funny books (That Boy by Jillian Dodd or the Chocolate Lovers series by Tara Sivec) to dark and angsty and hopefully twisted (Captive in the Dark by C.J. Roberts). I also like my heart to hurt sometimes. I like a book that makes me feel and I’d rather coming away from a book completely broken then have a HEA that doesn’t make me feel anything. Only the best authors can truly suck you into their books and make you feel real emotion. That being said my favorite author is Tarryn Fisher and I have read her Love Me With Lies series (The Opportunist, Dirty Red, and Thief) multiple times. I’m completely obsessed. I will never grow tired of pimping this book. It’s a must read.. if you haven’t read it GET TO IT!
